[tweetmeme source=”LilBizBigWorld” only_single=false] Innovation in business is proven to give exceptional value to customers. I have read recently about how the Brown Coffee Company used innovation in such a way that it proves both beneficial to both the company and their customers.

The Brown Coffee Company is just similar to your regular coffee shop. Their edge is that they use Venmo which basically lets a customer pay for their coffee using their cellphone. Most people forget their wallets in their cars, or their bags at home. The one thing that nobody can live without these days is their trusty mobile, just always within reach. Since this is the case for most people, Venmo considered it an opportunity to create a business must-have.

The concept is generally simple. As a customer, you just need to link your credit card because that’s where the service will get the money from. A business should just accept Venmo as one of their modes of payment and your customers can start sending you text messages to pay you.

Entrepreneurs, no matter how traditional their business is, should be aware of recent products and services which is popular to customers. Technological advancements should be harnessed for the continuous growth of the business. There are trends being developed and followed by many people and as an entrepreneur, you need to be at the forefront of these innovations in technology to better serve your customers.
